Welcome to Johannesburg Polytech Institute (JPI), an educational institution founded with the birth of South African democracy in 1994. What began with 60 pupils has now grown into a thriving community of over 2,000 students, from Grade R through high school.

Our History and Growth
JPI was established in 1997 with a vision to provide quality education to boys and girls in the inner city of Johannesburg. Over the past 18 years, we have steadfastly pursued this vision, becoming one of the most reputable schools in Doornfontein. Our commitment to excellence was further solidified in July 2015 when we relocated to our new, modern facility—the Education Complex Centre—situated at 29 Siemert Road, adjacent to the Doornfontein Train Station. This move has allowed us to expand our resources and continue our mission of providing top-tier education.
